What kind of editing do I need?

Developmental Editing:

Covers plot points, character development, themes, pov, story structure, pace

I will read the entire manuscript leaving in line comments relating to all of the above points giving examples of improvements.

I will then write a report that compiles my overall thoughts on the story in general and solutions for problems. 

Once I have sent it back to you and you have read through the comments you may email me any questions you have for clarification on any of the points. If it is easier, a call may also be possible.

Line/Copy Editing:

If your book has already been through a developmental edit either with me or another editor I can do copy and line editing.

Here I will look at spelling, grammar and punctuation mistakes. Inconsistencies in names, places and times, repetition of words or phrases as well as sentence and paragraph structure and awkward phrasing. 

I will leave them as suggestions on your document for you to implement.
